In A Pumpkin Shell
by Joan Walsh Anglund
In A Pumpkin Shell by Joan Walsh Anglund is a Lake County
Public Library Recommended Book for Kindergarten through Third
Grade.
One or two verses of Mother Goose rhymes are attached to each letter
of the alphabet. "A" is attached to "If I were an
apple and grew on a tree, I think I'd drop down on a nice boy like
me." It has a lot of the favorites ones we all know by heart.
Rating:
Our mom is a nut when it comes to Mother Goose, so we learned a lot
of Mother Goose rhymes and heard lots of stories since we were babies.
So for us, this book is a happy book and a happy way to learn the
alphabet. It can be purchased through
