Ms. George tells about her and her three children taking care of stray and injured animals as they moved around. Each chapter tells a separate story. The title, The Tarantula in My Purse, is one chapter and just as it sounds Ms. George has a tarantula in her purse. There are more like ducklings who lived in her tub, the crow who deposited money in the bank and the bat who lived in the family refrigerator.

I have read There's An Owl in the Shower by Ms. George and enjoyed it more. I guess all of the stories in Tarantula in My Purse could have happened, but they are hard to believe. You can purchase The Tarantula in My Purse at Amazon.
