OBITUARY - Troupsburg, N.T. - Randall E. Cady, 80 of 59 Cook Hollow Road, Troupsburg, NY entered into rest Saturday, October 31st at little's personal Care home, Westfield, PA. Born in Troupsburg, NY January 24, 1918, he was the son of James & Naoma Harrington Cady. A farmer, he also was formerly employed by the town of Troupsburg Highway Dept. and retired from the New York State Dept. of Transportation. He is predeceased by his brother, Walter J. Cady and sisters: Lola Cady, Mary A. Cady, Belle Cady Parker, Ruth Cady Parker, Gertrude Cady Herrington and Margaret Cady Miller. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends called Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the H.P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St., Woodhull, N.Y. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, November 3, 1998 at 11:00 A.M. Rev. Donald Hulbert will officiate. Burial will be in Woodhull Cemetery. Donations in Randall's memory may be made to Troupsburg Ambulance Association, c/o Kathryn Seeley, Treas., Hopper Hill Rd., Troupsburg, N.Y. 14885. Randall never married and never had any children.

He was formerly a self-employed farmer and later, a field man for Hopkins Dairy. He married Gertrude Cady March 9, 1932. She survives. Also surviving are five daughter, Beatrice Ingersoll of Cameron Mills, Beverly Haouptman of Painted Post, Barbara Morseman of Bath, Sharon Eddy of High Springs, Fla., and Ina Cramer of Elmira; one son Donald of Savona; three brothers, Ross of Port Byron, Robert of Chenango Forks and Frank of Addison RD 4; 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Services were held today at the H.P.Smith & Son Funeral Home, Woodhull, the Rev. Clair Statham officaiting, Burial was in the Woodhull cemetery.
