5. Richard⁵ Bourne (William⁴, William³, William², John¹) was born in Devon, England 1610. Richard died 9/18/1682 in Sandwich, MA.

He married twice. He married Bathsheba Hallet 1637. Bathsheba was born in Brinsfiltae, England. She was the daughter of Andrew Hallet Sr. and Mary Reeves. He married Ruth Sargent in Sandwich, MA, 7/2/1677. Ruth was born in Charlestown, MA 10/25/1642. She was the daughter of William Sargent and Sarah unknown. She married John Chipman (Elder) 1684. Ruth died 10/4/1713 in Sandwich, MA, at 70 years of age.

Richard Bourne and Bathsheba Hallet had the following children:

6 i. Job⁶ Bourne was born before 1677, the first event for which there is a recorded date. Job died 1677.

7 ii. Elisha Bourne was born 1641. Elisha died 12/21/1706 in Sandwich, MA. He married Patience Skiff in Sandwich, MA, 10/25/1675. She was the daughter of James Skiff and Mary unknown.

+ 8 iii. Shearjasub Bourne was born 4/21/1643.

9 iv. Ezra Bourne was born 5/12/1648.
