2. Adolph² Lent (Abraham¹) was born before 2/24/1727/8, the first event for which there is a recorded date.

He married Klaasje Harring by 1731. Klaasje was born in Harlem, NY or Tappan, NY 4/21/1711. She was the daughter of Peter Janszen Harring and Margaret (Greetje) Jans Bogart.

Adolph Lent and Klaasje Harring had the following children:

3 i. Abraham³ Lent was born in Tappan, Orange Co., NY 2/24/1727/8. Abraham died DY.

4 ii. Cornelia Lent was born in Tappan, Orange Co., NY 9/10/1729. She married Gerrit J. Harring. (See Gerrit J. Harring for the continuation of this line.)

5 iii. Abraham Lent was born in Tappan, Orange Co., NY 5/27/1732. He married Sarah Harring. Sarah was born 4/1/1732. She was the daughter of Jan or John C. Harring and Aaltje Van Dalsen.

6 iv. Catharina Lent was born in Tappan, Orange Co., NY 4/25/1736.

7 v. Petrus Lent was born 6/25/1739. He married Maria De Clark.

8 vi. Maria Lent was born in Tappan, Orange Co., NY 12/19/1743.

9 vii. Elizabeth Lent was born 7/24/1747.

10 viii. Wyntye Lent was born in Tappan, Orange Co., NY 7/16/1750.

11 ix. Cobus Lent was born in Tappan, Orange Co., NY 2/17/1753.
