30. Benajmin⁶ Allen (Capt.) (Joseph⁵, James⁴, Samuel³, George², John¹) was born in Tisbury, MA 8/28/1727. Benajmin died 11/14/1791 in at sea, at 64 years of age.

He married Eleanor Athearn in Tisbury, MA, 1/18/1753. Eleanor was born in Tisbury, MA 12/4/1727. She was the daughter of Jethro Athearn and Mary Mayhew. Eleanor died 5/15/1818 in Tisbury, MA, at 90 years of age.

Benajmin Allen (Capt.) and Eleanor Athearn had the following children:

37 vii. Abisha Allen was born 1756. Abisha died 1759.

38 viii. Benjamin Allen was born in Tisbury, MA 12/14/1767. Benjamin died 4/28/1859 in Tisbury, MA, at 91 years of age. He married Abigail Morse in West Tisbury, MA, 10/7/1790.
