5. Samuel³ Gardner Jr. (Samuel² Garnet, John¹) was born in Plymouth, MA 9/27/1683.

He married twice. He married Lydia Oldham in Scituate, MA, 7/2/1707. He married Bathsheba Stetson in Pembroke, MA, 1/30/1722/23. Bathsheba was born in Scituate, MA 9/29/1693. She was the daughter of Joseph Stetson Jr. and Hannah Oldham. Bathsheba died 12/18/1742 in Pembroke, MA, at 49 years of age.

Samuel Gardner Jr. and Bathsheba Stetson had the following child:

6 i. Thomas⁴ Gardner Sr. was born in Pembroke, MA 4/9/1730. Thomas died 9/15/1819 in Pembroke, MA, at 89 years of age. He married Faith Simmons.
