Throughout the Wharton genealogy clan there is a strong desire to find reference that links Samuel Wharton to his family. With all evidence found, it is evident that there is a link with Bartlett Wharton but it has yet been proven with any form of documentation. I have to believe they are brothers due to the ages and records showing Bartlett & Samuel in the same places at the same time in the early records. Some genealogists state that they are definitely brothers and that their father was William Wharton. I will concede that there is a strong liklihood and will continue to research this mystery.
