To get the homesite, from the Highway 35 bridge over
the Yockanookany River go south on Highway 35 for approxmiately 4 miles,
turn right on road 1022. The location of the colonial home was about
4 miles from Highway 35 on the left side of the road.
The colonial home was completed in 1858.

The smaller glass panes surrounding the door were dark blue and green
imported glass.

A butter maker
The Fletcher home was remodeled in the mid-1950's to
look as it appears above. Prior to re-modeling, the house styling
was similiar this other colonial home.
In February 1979, the Fletcher colonial home was torned
down by John Charles Fletcher. The below picture was the last picture
of the home.
