This 12th June I undertook a small trip to Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib . A short trip where we walked for around 50 kilometres in 4 days .
Enclosed here are a few of the memories that will always remain with me .

Left Delhi for Rishikesh (by) 1100 .
Reached Rishikesh 1500 .
Stay night at Rishikesh .
Also did Ganga snan (so I'm washed up of all my earthly sins as of now . Thus I can restart the dictionary of sins from scratch)Day 2 - June 13
Left for Govindghat early morning
Reached Govindghat by nightfall
Stay night at Govindghat at a Gurudwara .
Special attraction : Community toilets and toilet doors without bolts .Day 3 - June 14
Trek to Ghangharia (base camp) morning (14 kms.)
* Ghangharia is not connected by motorable road . thus had to trek with 10 kilos weight on our shoulders ..*
Reached Ghangharia by evening .
Stayed night at Ghangharia .
Feel good factor : River Bhayundar Ganga beside us the whole time and temperatures below 7 degrees .(feel j Delhi ?)Day 4 - June 15
Trek to Valley of Flowers, return same day (5 kms to + 5 kms back + 2 kms in = 12 kms)
Stay night at Ghangharia
The USP of our trekking expedition . VOF is the MOST beautiful place I've EVER seen or heard /read about .
Will go back there after marriage *wink!*Day 5 - June 16
Trek to Hemkund, return same day (6 kms to + 6 kms back = 12 kms)
Stay night at GhanghariaDay 6 - June 17
Started homewards, back to Joshimath .
Stayed at Gurudwara .Day 7 - June 18
Started for Haridwar at 4 in morning .
Reached Haridwar at 4 in afternoon .
Reached Delhi at 11:30 in night .
