My Testimony

Well let's see here, I got saved in August of 98

I was sitting at home and some people from the church that

I go to now was outreaching to our little trailer park,

I believe Dave answered the door and we talked to these

people for a little while and then I went outside with

this lady, named Susan, the first question she asked was

" So are you saved? "

I was like, I don't know.

So she told me some stuff about Jesus and what he can do

and then she asked me if I wanted to give my heart to

Jesus. I said ok.

I was a little nervous and stuff but I did it.

I knelt down on one knee and prayed the sinners prayer.

And at that moment I felt something.

I knew it wasn't the hot summer heat that day

it was Jesus coming to rescue me from my burdens.

He was living in me from that moment on.

I was so happy that I cried. I hugged Susan

and then she left.

She has been my angel ever since.

Well I know that really isn't a testimony, but

I wanted to tell that too, to show people that you

don't have to be in a church enviroment to get saved

and have Jesus live in your heart. You can

do it just like me.

Now for some stuff that Jesus has done in my life.

Here's the GOOD stuff!!!!!

Before I was saved I would smoke and drink and curse

and have really really bad fights with my husband.

I even left a couple of times.

I thought to myself " why do I need this "

I could be having fun all by myself without some man

yelling down my throat everyday.

But I came back and then God sent us over here to

North Carolina

I was pregnant at the time and I was 7 months along.

Things were going good.

Then I had Jordan, my baby girl.

We all thought she was fine until one night I was sitting

talking on the computer to Dave's aunt and I got this feeling inside

of me that something was really wrong with my child.

She was crying uncontrolbally. Even when I held her.

So I called the doctor and he said to come in the next morning.

So I did. The doctor listened to her for 30 seconds and found

a heart murmer. He said to come in the next day at 9 am

Well I did and they said I needed to go to see a heart specialist.

Well I was suppose to go pick up my husband that day so i didn't really

know what to do.

I went ahead and made the appointment. My husband showed

up that night, the night before the appointment, he wasn't suppose to be

in until the day of the appointment.

So I told him what was going on and we went to the doctor.

They looked at her heart and sure enough the blood wasn't all getting

to her body the way it should.

They told me there in the doctor's office that she would have

died in the next month if we hadn't of taken her in.

That was totally GOD!

Now, after 2 weeks of being in a hospital and about a year

my daughter is fine!

She is the most healthy baby.

After that I knew that God would always watch over

my little girl.

He wanted me to have her or else she could have died

at birth,

The flap that stays open the a valve of the heart while the baby

is in the womb should have closed at birth, that is what it is

suppose to do but hers didn't. It stayed open.

All with the hand of God.

That is my biggest testimony that I have

other than the fact that I am alive and well and not in

jail!
