Have fun with the family making
decorations for Christmas

Tie cinnamon sticks in bundles with
ribbons, hang on the tree.

Make a heart-shaped Eucalyptus Wreath.
Bend heavy wire or a clothes hanger into
a heart shape, bending the ends together
at the lower tip.  With floral wire, fasten
sprays of eucalyptus to the heart, tucking
in sprays of baby's breath.  Tie a big
bow and wire it to one side of the heart.

Popcorn garland and colored paper chains

Use leftover thread spools.  Decorate them
and thread them with large beads, pasta
shapes or ribbon bows for a garland.

String cranberries onto florist's wire, then
shape into a heart or star and hang on the
tree.

Homemade shortbread cookies look great
hanging in the windowpanes.

Trim a wreath for your kitchen with
antique red-handled cookie cutters and mini
rolling pins.

Sprigs of Queen Ann's lace look like
snowflakes when tucked on a small tree.

Cut snowflakes out of paper and hang
them on the tree or place them in the
window.  Paper cut-out dolls make a
lovely old-fashioned garland.

Use children's toy-trains, miniature houses
dolls, etc. under the Christmas tree, mantle
or on shelves.

Tie bundles of baby's breath with red
ribbon or cookie cutters with ribbon and
place on the tree.

Use paper doilies in many ways.  Fold in
half and make a fan or paste Christmas
decals or photos on them.

Affix adhesive stars to glass balls.
