McCarthy Family Search

Our family relationship with the McCarthy Surname is a mystery waiting to be solved.  With little information to go by, we started on search for a grand lady who contributed to our family line.  Her name being Annie McCarthy.

After turning over every rock, we were able to obtain a copy of a transcribed birth certificate of my grandfather, Charles Henry Connolly.  Long and behold, we have a break in the wall.

After a visit to Chelsea, MA, I had no information on our lost ancestor. I did find the house my grandfather was born in, which was quite a thrill.

A kind woman searched the Birth Records of the City of Chelsea, MA for me and found one Annie McCarthy that was born in Chelsea, MA. This Annie was born to John and Kate McCarthy who resided on 33 Cottage St, Chelsea MA.  The Birth date of Annie McCarthy was either July or August 1888.

Could this be our Annie? Oh, please let this be our Annie. Apparently the search still continues to verify this info and find out what happened to my Great-Grandmother

Annie!! Where are you, Annie?

I'll look to the left and then the right. I'll look under every rock and over every mountain. I shall pay tribute to this Grand lady one day
