Husband: George WILLS - George Wills was born in Leicestshire, England, the son of Ann Harris a convict. George arrived in Australia in 1832 having traveled with his mother and brother aboard a convict transport.
After immigrating to Australia George took up farming. He resided in the Manning River District and was granted land at Bo Bo Creek. His residence was called "Rose Cottage". MARRIAGE: 4 Sep 1855 Bungay (Parish of St Thomas). Married Mary Ann Kneale daughter of Patrick Kneal and Ann Cannell. Mary Ann and her sister immigrated to Australia arriving in Sydney on 2nd of February 1855 on the ship "The Nabob". They traveled as assisted immigrants. George and Mary Ann were married by banns in the presence of Archibald Beatie of Manning River and Helen Beatie of Glouster. They had twelve children George died 2 July 1892 at Manning River and was buried on his property. There is no headstone. They were married by banns on 4 Sep 1855 at Bungay (Parish of St Thomas) Australia. Mary Ann's brother John immigrated to Australia ten years after she did and was sponsored by George Wills.
