This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Wm Mcyclran

who departed this life about the Twenty Second of March in the year

of our Lord 1734/5 and being in perfect mind and memory at the makeing

hereof:

FIRST - He committed his soul to God and his body to

Christian burial. ITEM - He left to his son Phill:Mcycloran one pound ten

shillings.

ITEM - He left to his daughter Margarett Mcycloran two pounds ten

shillings.

ITEM - He left that if in case one of his children should dye

that then the survivor was to have the proportion of goods willed unto them

both and in case his son Jon and daughter would dye that his wife Ellinor

Mcycloran was to have halfe of their goods.

ITEM - He left to Patt Caine a new vest.

ITEM - He left to his brother Thos Mcycloran a wast coat and a

paire of breeches.

ITEM - He left to Phillip Kewish a medby coat.

ITEM - He left to his two children the sheep which they got in

Moire Chryling money marked in Moire own mark allso he left six pence

legacy each to any that would dame or speak against this his last will.

ITEM - To the wittnesses of this will one shilling a piece.

LASTLY - He left and apointed his loveing wife Elinor Meycloran

whole and sole executrix of al the rest of his goods moveable and

unmoveable whatsoever and also left his brother Thos Mcycloran and his

brother in law Phillip Kewish supervisors of his children.

WITNESSES hereunto: Robt Wade his X and Wm Garrett his X.

The executrix sworn in court in form of law and by consent of Thos

McYlecarane and Philip Kewish the overseers nominated in the will

she has the tuition of the children and their goods.

Pledges for the executrix: Thos Caley and Wm Garrett.

12 Mar 1735 - Cath Kelly of Jurby enters a claim against the

executrix of Wm McYlecarane for the sum of twenty shillings and five pence

lentmoney and craves the law.

27 Oct 1736 - Thos Caley and Wm Garret the former pledges are

released and John Gill and Wm Kewish are become and counter security in

their head for the executrix of Wm McYlecarane the within testatrix.

SECOND MARRIAGE: sometime after her husband Wm's death she married

Edmund Callow who died 17 Mar 1753 intestate. He named his

stepson Philip MeYlecarane. Philip McYlecarane and Margaret McYlecarane

entered a claim on 29 Jan 1754 against the administrators of

Edmund Callow for money due them from the last will of their father

William McYlecarane in 1735. The mother Elinor Callow widow nominates John

Kewley to be lawful attorney to appear for his own children for

their father's part of goods and chattels due them by the last will] of

their deceased father dated 12 Jan 1754.

Kewish which she made on or about the beginning of harvest last

being in perfect mind and memory at the making thereof.

First she committed her soul to God and body to Christian burial.

Item she left and bequeathed to her daughter Margt a little

heffer, a chest, a tub, a fledge and blanket, a pair of worsted combs, a

sack, seven or eight stokes of placket and all her apparell or cloths except

a checked apron which was declared left to her sisters daughter Cath:

Mylvorey

Item she left two yards of stuff to John Howland a little lad in

the house. Twelve pence each of the wittnesses of this her last will

and lastly she nominated and appointed her son Phillip Mylecarane

whole and sole executor of the all the rest of her goods movable and

immovable whatsoever.

ALSO - To his daughter Anne the sum of thirty shillings.

He left and bequeathed to his loving wife five shillings legacy.

LASTLY, he appointed and constituted his son Wm Mylcharane sole

executor of all the rest of his goods and effects movable and

immovable of what kind or nature soever.
