My involvement in showing dogs began in 1972 with Chihuahua Long Coats. After 13 years in the breed I finally added a Smooth Coat. I have owned other breeds during this time -- a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Tibetan Spaniels, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, and Lhasa Apsos.

I became involved with Tibetan Terriers in 1991 when the wonderful Lo came into our lives. He is a joy to live with -- chewed slippers, shoes, makeup compacts, etc.; obedient when it suits him; temporary deafness, aloof, mischievous, affectionate, full of spirit -- I could go on forever.

Kali came along in 1996 and she is loyal, faithful, cheeky, and obedient. Their wonderful girls, born in 1997, are a combination of both, displaying soundness and good temperaments. However, having said that, Blossom would have to be the naughtiest puppy I have ever owned. Their sister, Jaja Yanpa Galme, will be campaigned in 1999.
