Knott, James of Mausanum in the Lower Countie of Newe Norfolk in Virginia, gent, age 35, resident there 20 years makes oath that: Dale, Sir Thomas, when governor, caused the natives to pay yearly tribute of one bushel of corn. Elizabeth, Lady Dale his sole executrix. Deposes as to the massacre in Virginia.
