My Washington Post letter to the editor published Sunday 7/25/99. I was responding to a 7/15/99 article about libraries and the internet. The Post also printed a letter which disagreed with my own viewpoint.

Guy Houston (Class of '78) Son of legendary SR football coach Fred Houston and quarterback of the 1977 EBAL champion Wolves.  He has been active in local politics recently and is currently Mayor of Dublin, California. 
 
 

Devil Mountain Run Results from Danville's annual 10k & 5k race held in May since 1978.  Quite a few members of the class of '79 have run it through the years.  At least two of us run it every year. 
 
 
 

Lyle Setencich  Head Football Coach and Social Studies teacher at San Ramon during our Sophomore through Senior years. Recently coached at ASU, and is now Associate Head Coach at Cal. 
 
 

Geoffrey Blake (Class of '80) From SR High Drama and Rally Skit Coordinator to Hollywood.  He has played small but important roles in a lot of TV shows and  movies, like Matlock, Deep Space Nine, Forrest Gump, Contact and Apollo 13.  This fan's website is packed with photos and information about Geoff. 
 

"What the cycles of history tell us about America's next rendezvous with destiny."  This book/website has lively discussions on generational issues.  Recommended by an SR grad from class of '78. 

Sox Softball is my NASA Goddard Space Flight Center slow pitch softball team.  We play on Tuesday nights from April through August. The season is now over, but the statistics live on.  Batting averages and team photos are here.
