GRANDMA'S DUMPLINS
1Cup plain Flour 1/4 teaspoon Salt 1 Chicken Ice Water 2 Chicken flavored bullion cubes ( for more chicken Flavor)
Wash, cut - up and boil chicken in seasoned water (salt, pepper & bullion cubes). When chicken is done, it will come off the bones easily. Remove bones and let come to a boil. Mix flour, salt and pour ice water slowly. The mixture should be stiff. If you add too much water, simply addmore flour. Flour a cutting board and knead your dough in the flour. Dough now should be tough. When this consistency is reached, divide into 2 portions. Roll dough real thin; cut in long strips and break off 3" strips and place in boiling chicken water. When all strips have been added, bring to a rapid boil, cover and remove from heat.
