| Where do my eyelids go When day is here I open my eyes And they just disappear! I wonder why hair Cover most of my head. How funny I would look With feathers instead! I wonder why skin covers me From my head to my toes And how does it manage To stretch as I as I grow! I wonder why I'm so different from you And whether I wonder as much as you do! Why do my knees bend Whenever I squat? I wouldn't be able to If they did not I wonder what I will grow up to become There are so many things That I think would be fun. But when I grow up, I won't only wonder I'll listen and learn and try to find out For I am glad that this beautiful world which God has made Is full of things to wonder about! |
