The Great Joy of Liberty

After the thunderous storm,
Comes the gentle breeze.
The dew drops on my window panes,
Reminds me of my future,
My happiness; It gives me joy,
The kind I always desired.
It strengthens me, Like I always hope for.

I wake at dawn,
A beautiful awakening, a whole new world,
I know I am free,
Free, from your despising glare,
It washes away the memories, it makes me anew,
Most of all, it makes me human again.

Reminisce

The sun sets,
Feeling drowsy, strangely, not with sleep
But with guilt, shame and sadness.
Striving to be the best, I struggle in vain.
The strong trample me, I fall.

The sun rises,
A whole new world,
Remaining same: quivering in anguish,
More-or-less self pity.
The ball is in my court,
I seek a player.

The winds blow at all directions,
Positive directions,
Longing to take me,
The mind is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Agonies of Life

From a looking glass,
I see a reflection,
It's like a ghost,
All white and pale.

From the crystal ball,
I see a future,
All muddled in aimless hopes,
And nebulous aspirations.

My heart throbs,
For the apathy of Man,
The indifference of Humanity.

Life's a turmoil,
Always in conflict,
I wish for happiness,
Instead I get pain,
The throbbing turmoil;
That kills the spirit of Man.
