The silly puppies whined sooo much because I have my very own page and all that they got was an honorable mention that I decided to give them a little page for Christmas. Of course, they want their very own page just like mine, but I told them that they would have to talk to Daddy about that because Mommy was just too busy with mine to make one for them!

Bear and Sissys Page

Almost 7 months ago we got a tiny Rottwieler puppy and named him Bear. Not long after we got another pup from the same litter and named her Sissy. They have proven to be wonderful dogs again and again. Bear has become one of my favorite friends, and Sissy's sweet disposition makes me love her more everyday. I wish I could rid the Rottwieler of it's terrible reputation, although I know I can't. My pups would never hurt anyone, and none of the Rotties I know would either. Anyways, we live with these two beasts. When we first got them we knew that they would grow to be big dogs, but my gosh, Sissy is small, she was just spayed and weighed 65 pounds. She is still small enough that I could pick her up and carry her into the Vet's office when she refused to go. Bear on the other hand isn't as easy to deal with. At 95 pounds, he pretty much tells me what to do. I sure do love him though. He has single handedly stole the hearts of everyone around him. This photo is him at about 5 weeks old. Bear and Sissy's mom was named Darla, and they were in her first litter. She turned out to be a terrible mother and deserted the pups at 4 weeks. We took Bear at just 4 weeks, and took Sissy, whereas she was the last puppy to be sold and was all alone, at 6 weeks. Sissy is very sheepish and at times very scared of things. Bear is the big adventurer. He wants to know everyone, he has to be up on everyone, and is very free with his kisses. However at nearly a hundred pounds it's hard to bear (heehee) his love sometimes. Potty trips are always fun, Bear pulls me around the yard at about 50 miles an hour until he finds just the right spot. Sissy is more mellow, and like I said she is smaller. They are my little sweethearts!
