  AN OPPORTUNITY FOR RENEWAL
Do you remember as a child that magical feeling that swelled inside you as you dream of that mystical Christmas morn? God gave each of us that innocence of childhood. That special feeling of no troubles, problems, or woes. That spiritual goodness eventually becomes buried beneath bills, work, appointments, and everyday concerns. Wouldn't it be great to rediscover that simplicity, that purity that allowed you to
thank God the creator for allowing you just to be. On March 16 and 17,  join us in a spirit filled workshop "Making the Best of Yourself' at the Linwood Retreat Center starting at 5:00 P.M. Friday and finishing at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday. All Christian adults are invited to this non-denominational gathering. Celebrate the magic of His Love. Sponsored by Our Lady of Sorrows.

It often becomes easy to travel through the Holiday Season with little thought to the true meaning and reason for the season. It is easy to get caught up in the parties, presents, and atmosphere paying little
attention to the mission we are called by Christ to proclaim.

This past season many parishioners and members answered the call to those less fortunate enjoy some Christmas Cheer. We received an overwhelming number wishes from children for Christmas. This Commmity answered the call. Here is a special letter received by one angel who speaks volmes about our efforts to assist this season.

Dear Church:

I am writting  in regards to the Christmas basket we (my family and I) received this year. I (we) were very happy and thanklul for your generosity and your Christmas Spirit to help us through this Christmas. I can't thank  you enough for what you have given us this year. You have made us happy and thankful that we still have people out there that really do care and warm hearted inside like you. Again, Thank You. We couldn't thank you enough. I just know when I grow up I want to help people like you guys because there are worse people than us out there.  We thank you for the two shirts and the CD's. We also thank you for the barbie for my sister. Again, we are very grateful you cared for us and are willing to buy  these things for us. Thank you and God Bless You All!  You All Are In Our Prayers.
