ABIJAH A, from Wabash Co, IN, Private, Corporal, 1st Regiment Company F,Mustered in: June 23, 1846 at New Albany, IN by Colonel Samuel Churchill. Mustered out: June 16, 1847 at New Orleans, LA, by Colonel Samuel Churchill. Abijah volunteered in Wabash County, and became a member of Company F. Having served as Corporal during the full term of his enlistment, he returned home to Wabash County. He later moved to Grant County, IN.
