The junior church is held every Sunday morning before the main worship begins. The junior church caters for all children of a primary school age and the early years of secondary as well. The junior church is the best attended part of the church with many members. During the weekly meetings a wide variety of activites are carried out such as arts and crafts, music and drama as well as the more traditional direct learning classes. In addition to their Sunday meetings many of the members also attend a special Junior Alpha meeting on Wednesdays where they can learn more about the Christian faith along with their parents. The children also attend the main service occansionally in order to participate. This includes drama and music as well as readings and other similar activites and occurs, on average, once per term. For example, the Sunday School Aniversary service in the summer or the Toy service nearer to Christmas.
