Hello! Welcome to the newly formed Revival
Resources Index. As you can see, it
is under heavy construction. In fact, it will be a
while before this site is comfortably
settled. But keep checking back often to see what's been
added!

Lord, I have heard of your fame; I stand
in awe of your deeds, O Lord. Renew them in our day, in our time
make them known; in wrath remember mercy.

Quote of the Week
.
“And then the converts who are thus brought into the church, if the revival
continues, are very earnest ones. You never saw such a people. The outsiders
call them fanatics. It is a blessed fanaticism. Others say, they are nothing
but enthusiasts. It is a heavenly enthusiasm....It is not orderly, you
say....You may try to stop us, but we will run over you if you do not get
out of the way.”
More from Chuck Baldwin . Chuck
Baldwin has written another article
concerning the most recent PNJ attacks on the Brownsville Revival.
Just like his earlier article, Mr. Baldwin (who is a non-supporter of the
revival) delves into the overwhelming problems with the PNJ's reporting.
Since I'm a little rushed, this article will only be on the main page until
I can get it into the Articles section. You can read it by clicking
on this link: Who Died and Made
the PNJ the Great Defender of Biblical Orthodoxy? .
Off to the Great Move of God... . Well, I'll be going on vacation to Orange Beach
in southern Alabama until Friday, so there won't be any updates for a week
(yeah, like that's new or something). But the good news is that I'll
be attending the Brownsville services on Wednesday and Thursday night and
I'll have a full report on how they went when I return.

Intriguing Update . As the Pensacola News Journal's third major attack
on the Brownsville Revival wraps up, I'm adding an article
that I found both wonderful and peculiar at the same time. It's by
a fundamental Baptist radio show host in Pensacola named Chuck
Baldwin. As many of you undoubtedly know, some of the most agressive
critics on the internet whole-heartedly display the PNJ's Brownsville articles
on their websites proclaiming that the paper's investigation exposes Brownsville's
flaws (so-called). But Mr. Baldwin is different. While he says
up front that he is not a Brownsville supporter, he says that the PNJ's
attacks on the revival are "appalling", "fear-mongering propaganda", that
are designed to "divide the Christian community and publicly impugn the
veracity of Christian leaders." But more importantly than that, he
asserts that critics of the revival who jump on the PNJ bandwagon are just
as guilty as the secular newspaper. Click here
for this very intriguing read.

More Attacks by the PNJ .
This past Sunday (June 21) marked the Brownsville
Revival's third anniversary. For the third time since November, the
Pensacola News Journal is releasing a series of articles that attempt to
harm and discredit the revival. These articles often include blatant
slants, misrepresentations, and lies. This latest series is no exception.
But I must add that this time the PNJ had a section on revival
testimonials and printed a rebuttal
written by Evangelist Stephen Hill and Pastor John Kilpatrick, which is
to be commended. Since part of
my testimony was used, I was able to speak with a high-ranking official
at the PNJ about the articles, but I cannot print the details about our
conversation on this site. I plan to write an examination of the
content of some of the latest articles later in the week. Stay tuned.
. Back in Business . I apologize for the long delay in getting the
info back onto the site, but summer school started two weeks ago and I
haven't been left with a whole lot of updating time. A little summer
laziness on my part might have had a hand in it too... The Articles
section is open and the other sections will follow suit very soon.
It only has four selections at the moment, but it will be growing.

Site Change .
As you can see, this site is now known as the
Revival Resources Index.
Because of the change, it will take a little time to update all the links
and pages that I had before, but the same information will remain.
In the meantime, if you want a good overall revival page with articles,
testimonies, etc. go to Reapernet.
If you want a site that has some extremely good information on revival
characteristics throughout church history, go to Steve Beard's Thunderstruck.
Thanks for the patience with the changes!
