The Carrier name dates back to the American Revolutionary War. Rumor has it that a Carrier served under England's Cromwell. This page is dedicated to Richard Winslow Carrier (Pop-Pop) and Tovarez Guerrero.
Pop-Pop was a quiet man who lived an extraordinary and full life. Married to Grandma for almost fifty years, he touched many souls. After six months of living with lung and bone cancer, God took him home on March 11th, 2004, where he no longer suffers. We miss his wisdom, his humor, and his gentle smile.
Tovarez was always God's child, taken before his time on earth. We mourn his loss and know that he and Pop-Pop are together, waiting to bring the rest of us home.
