My name is Tandi and welcome to my page. This has been so hard to do, because you see I have four paws and I miss the keys every now and then.

So, please excuse me if there are any mistakes in here.

I was whelped in Massachusetts at the home of Mokiema Lhasa Apso’s. And at the tender age of 4 months, I went to my new home in Delaware.

It was love at first sight with my new Mom and Dad. But my first love is my human brother. I just turn myself inside out for him.

We have been together forever; well, except when Mom sent me off to Massachusetts to be shown and later to be bred. Well anyways I became an AKC Champion in May 1995 and what a happy day that was. I was so excited; and my handlers, Stephanie and Mary were so proud of me that day.

I was sent home shortly there after and I was treated like I was gold (and you know what I am). I came home to a wonderful dinner that night. They gave me steak .

I retired after that to live a life of leisure; no more shows and could now run and play in the house with out worrying if I would break my coat on the carpets; by then, who cared; not me anyways. I really like to lounge in a nice sunny spot on the living room couch, I have my own pillow there.

Well, anyways in July, I was sent back up to Massachusetts to be bred. I had seen this handsome Lhasa and I knew he was the one for me. His name you ask Prestin. Well, anyways, I was bred and Mom came up and brought me home on the big airplane. I loved that so much.

In September I gave birth to 7 puppies, 6 boys and 1 girl. Mom was not to happy about that, cause she kept telling me she wanted two pretty girls that looked just like me. I sure surprised her, didn’t I ? Well let me tell you it was a piece of cake I started at 4:00 p.m. and I had my last pup at 9:45 p.m.; not bad for a beginner.

My human Mom was a nervous wreck (she got sick) and so she called her good friend in Delaware, Mary, to come over and help Dad. Not knowing Mary all that well, I had to check her out; she passed my inspection and down to business I got.
Now I would like to tell you a little bit about my humans. Mom’s name is Pat and Dad is Dick, and my brother’s name is John.

John has Cerebral Palsy and is also an Epileptic. I have a hidden ability even I didn’t know I possessed. John had a really bad seizure and I was the one who let Mom know what was happening. I helped Mom with him, and now I sleep with John in his room just to make sure he is all right. I have a secret and he has helped me when bad thunderstorms come through here in the summer.

Well, I will have to finish this when Mom gets the rest of the pictures scanned in. I hope you will come back again to see my children and also an update on their show wins.

But before I go, I want to thank two very special humans, without them this page would not have happened. So very special Lhasa hugs and licks to Sams and Redmansmomma I love you both.
