1 can tomato soup
1 small garlic clove, crushed
2 tsp oregano
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 lb. hamburger (browned)
1/2 c. diced onion
1/4 c. diced green pepper
1/2 c. mushroom pieces and water (4 oz. can)
4 English Muffins (toasted, optional)
8 oz. sliced or shredded mozzarella cheese
Brown crumbled up hamburger with onions, green pepper, garlic clove, salt & pepper. Simmer until onions are tender. Add mushrooms, the tomato soup (undiluted) & oregano. Simmer until nearly all the liquid is consumed. Spoon onto 8- 1/2 muffins and cover with cheese. Place under broiler until cheese melts and browns.
