I Am Aware of Your Sorrow
by Barbara Philbrook

I am aware of your sorrow and I feel your pain,
but I must remind you of this once again.

We live with the consequences of the choices we make,
even when our choices are a big mistake.

We even suffer when those we love do,
but they have to live with the consequences of their choices too.

We all learn through the mistakes we make,
and there is no assurance of how many tries it will take.

Now watching a loved one suffer is difficult too,
but it will be helpful if they know they're loved by you.

You can't erase the mistakes that were made,
but you can make sure a good foundation is laid.

They must be reminded their strength comes from the Father above,
and no matter how they acted they have His love.

We must be careful they don't lean on us instead of Him,
we must guide them to the cross so their victory they'll win.

In the final analysis it is their soul that matters most,
and they can only be changed by the Holy Ghost.

We can not out guess the Father's plans,
we can only entrust our lives to His precious hands.

Yes I am aware of your pain and your heart wrenching sorrow,
and soon we'll be together in Heaven's tomorrow.
