I Have No Evidence
by Barbara Philbrook

I have no evidence but I still believe in my Lord,
and I know with each new convert the angels in heaven applaud.

I have no evidence but on Jesus I rely,
and though I can't prove it I'll be with Him when I die.

I have no evidence but His strength has brought me through,
and I know He is willing to do the same for you.

I have no evidence but He's been with me all along,
and in times of pain has filled my heart with song.

I have no evidence but have sipped the water of life,
and when I needed it was relieved of worry and strife.

I have no evidence but I have known God's pure love.
The same is offered to each of us from heaven above.

I have no evidence but know He is always near,
because of how He loves us and holds us each so dear.

I have no evidence but am as sure as I can be,
that God has a home for us all to live in for eternity.

I have no evidence but there is no need you see,
God gave us faith and I have an abundance in me.
