Jesus' Coming
by Barbara Philbrook

Have you ever sat looking into the sky with a simple stare,
and imagined Jesus our savior appearing there.

Suddenly there would be an opening appear in a cloud,
you'd hear the Angels trumpeting aloud.

Oh the glory and honor that would surround Him all about,
would your heart be thrilled, could you greet Him with a shout?

Are you waiting absolutely full of expectancy,
waiting on Jesus to come and call for you and me?

Do you surrender daily with your whole heart,
have you told Him you're willing to do your part?

It is a fact that it will be reality one day,
we know for sure Jesus will be coming in exactly that way.

The Bible tells us some will cry out and seek to hide,
they will fear His coming they never invited Him within to abide.

No man knoweth the day or the hour,
once He appears the choice is no longer within our power.

God does not will that even one would be lost,
He provided a way out at very great cost.

But the choice has to be made that can only be done by you,
God does not force, it is something we must do.

If this subject is to you an unfamiliar mystery,
open your Bible and ask God to allow you to see.

Seek and you will find what you need to know,
then when Jesus comes you will be ready to go.

One day it won't be an imagined site we behold,
it will be witnessed by all men, the story's been told.

Open your heart, inviteJesus in,
then when He comes you won't seek cover like the sin filled men.
