I Am Not Ashamed
by Barbara Philbrook

I am not ashamed of my loving Master
I shall praise His Name now and forever after.

I tell the world what has been done for me.
How my loving Savior has set me free.

How my Father created the Salvation Plan,
just to save the lives of sin filled man.

How He's beckoned and drawn me to the truth,
has been guiding me since my early youth.

How He's opened my eyes so I could see,
given me understanding to make it easier for me.

How He's taught me to seek and to find,
so I'd accept His gift and not be left behind.

How He's opened my mind so I could learn,
and given me a gift so the truth I could discern.

How He's mended my heart when it broke,
and showed me that life is not a joke.

I am not ashamed. I am as thrilled as I can be,
and I want the rest of the world to also see.

To see the love and grace being offered to all,
to realize they each must answer the call.

To see there is not much time for them to waste.
Each must learn and choose with some haste.

I am not ashamed. I am ecstatic instead,
because I don't look toward eternity with fear or dread.

I look forward instead to going home,
and if I have anything to do with it I won't be alone.

So if you haven't accepted Jesus yet as your Savior,
won't you take part in this life saving behavior?

Call out to Jesus tell Him you accept today.
You can be assured of salvation that way.

I am not ashamed and neither will you be,
as we all sing praises of Jesus' victory.
