Our
Justification
by
Barbara Philbrook
We are
free of guilt we are told in Acts13:39,
guilt which the Laws of Moses defined.
Being
justified by the redemption given by Jesus' grace,
look in Romans 3:24 it is stated in this place.
Jesus was
delivered for our offenses and raised again for our
justification,
look in Romans 3:25 you will see verification.
Being now
justified by his blood and saved from wrath through Him,
a wrath that is sure to be horrifically severe and grim.
As we walk
in the spirit which guides each of us through the day,
there is no condemnation for those in Jesus, so Romans
8:1 has to say.
Knowing
that a man is not saved by the works of the law,
was at first to me a real cause of awe.
I
mistakenly thought I had to change what I was inside,
foolishly I didn't recognize this as sinful pride.
If sin
could have been overcome by me,
Jesus needn't have died on the cross to set me free.
Jesus only
is our justification you see,
it is believing in this truth that sets us free.
Now least
I misguide or you misunderstand,
faith is also a gift given of God to man.
Let no man
boast of his great belief in the Lord,
for any faith possessed is given of God.
This too
is fact no room for debate,
you can confirm it yourself in Ephesians 2:8.
