Tornadoes
by Barbara Philbrook

This week we had some tornados touch on local ground,
houses and trailers were lifted up and twirled round and round.

Trees were broken and flung through the air,
and some people have discovered that their loved ones are no longer here.

The papers and news crews are trying to cover it all,
and in the midst of this there has gone out a call.

Give if you can to help one another,
whatever you can spare could help a fellow sister or brother.

The television is declaring this a disaster,
and the president came to see if aid could be given any faster.

I've listened to the broadcasts for a couple of days,
and heard this described in various ways.

I haven't heard any one mention that it resembles the last days in God's Holy Word,
instead El Nino is the reason they think these things have occurred.

Now I am no theologian and I know that of the exact time we will not be aware,
but we do know that calamity and adversity will seem to be striking everywhere.

Praise God for the warnings we have in his holy word,
and that we still have time to reach others who have not yet heard.

We have a message that we all must share,
tell everyone you meet that Jesus soon will be here.

Every person must make his or her own choice,
continue the invitation till you no longer have a voice.

The time may be close so make each and every  one you can aware,
we like Jesus would like for all to be there.

Yes we'll soon be going home for eternity,
and warning others in the last days may be our Destiny.
