Wanting To Die
by Barbara Philbrook

I met a young man on the computer today,
who told me He is wanting to die in the worst way.

It burdens my heart to hear what this young man had to say,
Lord may I have lightened his load in life I pray.

I shared with him words that I hope encouraged him somehow,
then I offered Him up in prayer he's in your hands now.

But Father the ache in my heart has not gone away,
is there something else I should have done today.

Please Dear Father if there be any negligence in me,
please fill in so he will be helped sufficiently.

I can not rid myself of the ache in my heart,
I pray Dear Father I did my full part.

Thank You Father for allowing me to know,
there are many more areas in which I must grow

Thank You that it is not on me alone that others must depend,
that it is you who is their salvation and truest friend.

Thank You for allowing me to take part,
and for reminding me it is you they need in their heart.

Thank You for the seeds you allow me to bestow,
help me to remember it is you who makes them grow.
