Welcome to my sewing room. It has taken me a long time to complete my sewing room as it is shown here. Please have a seat. Oops! Let me move some of this stuff so you can be comfortable and we can chat. I would like to tell you a little about what I like to create in my sewing room.
I have enjoyed sewing for many years. It wasn't until five years ago when my husband and I retired that I really found the time to discover how much fun and rewarding sewing can be. I was a weekend seamstress that never seemed to be able to finish the article I was sewing that weekend. The sewing room was a disaster until the next weekend rolled around and maybe even one or two more weekends if other things cropped up.
I enjoy sewing clothing and home decorating items and of course, I can't forget the crafty items for the grandchildren on all the holidays. I sew clothes for my daughter Cheryl and I make all of my husband Lonnie's shirts and once in a while I work in a few things for myself. Lonnie loves the bold flowers and wild print fabrics. He definitely can get by with wearing them here in the sunshine state of Florida.
