!Enlisted in Black Hawk campaign abt 1833. In 1836 he went to Missouri, about 2 miles from Far West. He helped to build the Nauvoo Temple. He was a member of the Martial Band of the Nauvoo Legion. !CENSUS:1850 Utah Territory pg 88
I have another baptism date of 29 Aug 1967 and another sealing date to parents of 30 June 1840. The sealing to parents was before 1845. Elisha labored on the Nauvoo Temple. He was sustained as President of the Teacher's Quorum on 7 October 1844. He was a member of the martial band of the Nauvoo Legion. He covenanted to assist the saints in removing from Missouri in January of 1839. (Early LDS Membership, Susan Easton Black)
