This is for my sister-in-law Esther, who graduated on May 2, 1999 from the University of South Florida. Congratulations kiddo. You did it. I wish you happiness and luck. God bless you. |

Your Day You walked across so proudly, We could see it in your stride. The day you had been waiting for, Your moment had arrived. All the years that you've devoted, Late nights spent studying alone. Those days won't be forgotten, But aren't you glad that they are gone? Some days you felt like giving up, But instead you gave it more. Your persistence really paid off, It's made you stronger than before. I'm proud of you little sister, And the progress that you've made. You've kept your head on straight, An experience you wouldn't trade. Now walk out and stand tall, Take your place in this big world. Show society what you're made of, That you're a woman and no longer a girl. ~by CM Miller Cabey~ |
