Richard Butler of Adston, yeoman. To Richard * PHILPE my son in law £23. I forgive the said Richard Philpe the £17 which he owes me in full satisfaction of the marriage portion of Katherine his now wife
To the said Katherine Philpe one Livery cupboard standing in my parlour etc.
To Josias WALE my son in law & to Elizabeth his wife 40 marks which 40 marks to continue in the custody of Daniel WATTS my son in law & John BUSBY of Bobenell [Bubbenhall?] County Warwick, yeoman during the natural lives of the said Josias & Elizabeth Wale, the said Daniel Watts & John Busby making payments every half year, the first payment 1 year after my decease, & after the decease of the survivor of the said Josias & Elizabeth Wale, my will is the said 40 marks together with such benefit as shall then remain in the custody of the said Daniell Watts & John Busby shall be paid to John & Sarah Wale the now 2 children of the said Josias & Elizabeth Wale
To the aforesaid John Wale 20 nobles when 21. To the aforesaid Sarah Wale 24 nobles when 21 or day of marriage. To John Busby 20s to be deducted out of £5 he owes me. To all my godchildren half a crown except Timothy GRAFTON unto whom I give one shilling. Daniell Watts to be my sole Executor
