To the poor of Brington forty shillings.  To my son HILLES 5s & to my daughter Alice his wife, 10s to buy her a ring.  To my son WAULES? 5 shillings & to my daughter Mary his wife 5s.  To Elizabeth KNIGHTLEY the eldest daughter of my grandson Edward Knightly fifty pounds & the bed that I lie upon and the bedding that belongeth unto it and my trunk that is in the apple chamber etc

Unto Edward Knightley the elder son of my said grandson Edward Knightly ten pounds.  To Richard Knightley second son to Edward Knightley 10 pounds.  To my goddaughter Alice Knightley 10 pounds etc

Whereas by a deed bearing date 4 Jan in the year above written, I the said John Stratford & his wife Anne of the one part and Edward BROGRAVE of Wappenham gent., Richard ROBINS the elder of Silston yeoman, and William CLARKE of Chappell Green in Bucks., yeoman and ....... {page torn away] of Silston, yeoman, of the other part, have confirmed the said Edward Brograve, Richard Robins, William Clarke & John BOUGHTON, all that messuage & tenement etc in Silston, now or late in my occupation
