Will made July 1634.  o my son John Twigden the younger all that part of the shop in the churchyard of All Saints in Northampton and of all the wares in the same shop etc.  To my daughter Elizabeth WALKER if living at my decease, & then to her children 20 pounds.  To her husband all such money as he oweth me

To my daughter Sara WADE if she be living at my decease, if not then to her children £40

To my daughter Katherine KING if she be living at my decease, threescore pounds, if not living then to her daughter 40 pounds.  To my daughter Ann GOODMAN ?(page torn) if she be living at my decease, if not then to her children £30.  To my daughter Mary COLE if she be living at my decease, if not then to her children £50

To my daughter Ellinor WOOLLASTON if she be living at my decease, if not then to her children, if she have any £10, if not then to her husband Richard Woollaston 10 s above her marriage portion which I have already paid him.  To every one of my grandchildren now living 20s apiece at 21 years or day of marriage

To every one of my brother Ge........(page torn) children 20s apiece when 21 or day of marriage.  To my maid Dorothy 20s.  All these legacies shall be paid by Mr George Coles and my loving cousin Mr Francis COOK (torn) out of the money arising out of the lands etc aforesaid which I have conveyed unto them by an Indenture dated 7th July made between me John Twigden of the one part & the said George Coles & Francis Cook of the other.

A certain place called Barker's End now in the occupation of Lawrence Cole, to go to John Walker my grandchild.  The remainder to my loving wife Francis & my loving brother Mr George Coles, co-executors

Overseers my loving friend Mr Henry PAINTER and cousin Mr Francis Cole & to each 20s

Will made 27 Dec 1637 Yeoman.  To be buried in the churchyard of Napton in Warwickshire.  To my son Robert Meadowes all my goods & chattels.  To my son John Meadows two "cardeques" with my best cloak & white cap.  To Thomas Meadowes my grandchild, son to the said Robert Meadowes, my trunk and to Mary Meadowes a great chest & to the next child of Robert Meadowes a little box.  Robert Meadowes executor

To my son John Booth "if he be living & come to demand it" 40s.  To my son in law Robert GARRET 4d

The rest to Judith my wife to bring up my children Elizabeth & Mary Booth.  My wife Judith Executrix

If Judith dies I appoint Joseph SHORTLAND & Mary his wife to bring up the children Elizabeth & Mary Booth

If Elizabeth & Mary died before full age then the house to go to Thomas Shortland & Elizabeth his wife
