Christmas brings not only joy, but also peace for the heart.  Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, brought peace through His love.  This Christmas you may know deep in your heart whether or not you have the peace of Christmas.

Has a friend asked for your forgiveness and you haven't given it?  This Christmas - forgive!
Did something in your past hurt or frighten you - so much that you could not forget?  This Christmas - forget!
Was there a time your own strength faltered and your faith suffered?  This Christmas renew your faith in Christ!
Have you been postponing a kindness because you did not know just what to do and so with the passing of time did nothing?  This Christmas - show that kindness!

Do you know of a need, even a work of support, cheer or praise that you can use to enrich another person's life? Fill the need, say that word.

Are you seeking the peace of Christmas?  Give the present of forgiveness when needed, forget those things that are not important anyway and renew your faith in kindness.  If you do these things you will find a peace and a joy of Christmas that is often overlooked in today's society.

May the words of Paul in Colossians 3:15 be part of our lives this Christmas season: "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also ye are called in one body and be ye thankful."

May this be the best Christmas ever - as we keep our focus on the real Reason for the Season.
