John Watkins was my Great-Great Grandfather.
He lived in North Carolina.
John was married to Anna Jane Simmons.
Annie was born in December, 1829.
By 1880 she was living in Searcy County,
Arkansas, as a widow with 4 children.
We do not know what happened to John.

Marvel Columbus Watkins, my Great
Grandfather,
was born December 26, 1859
in Yancy County, North Carolina.
He married Nancy Ann Scott in 1880.
Nancy Ann was the daughter of
John and Harriet Scott.
Columbus was a minister of the gospel.
For a time they lived in Batesville, Arkansas,
but mostly in Searcy County, Arkansas.
He died October 1, 1912 and Nancy
March 6, 1935.
They are both buried at the Whisenhant Cemetery,
near Snowball, Searcy Co., Arkansas.

Charlie Watkins, my Grand Father, was born
April 4, 1890 in Batesville, Arkansas.
He married Delphia Naomi Manes,
the daughter of David H. C. Manes and
Delphia Scott, September 24, 1908.
They lived in Searcy County, Arkansas
all their lives. "Nomie" died in 1927.
Charlie died November 23, 1973.
They are both buried at the Whisenhant Cemetery,
near Snowball, Searcy Co., Arkansas.

Anie Watkins, my Mother, was born May 30,
1910.
She married Mitchell Lawson McCutcheon,
the son of
John McCutcheon and Mary Louisa Reddell.
August 7, 1928.
They lived all their married lives in the same house,
near Snowball, Searcy Co., Arkansas.
They had one child, a daughter,
Karylon Sue McCutcheon.
