2. John HOWELL (John1). Born in 1630.  died in Isle Of Wight County, VA, in 1732; he was 102.

John married Elizabeth SHELLY(SUSLEY), daughter of Phillip SHELLY(SUSLEY) & Margaretta Elizabeth. Born in Dec 1696 in Tregaron, Cardigan,Wales.  died in Edgecombe County, NC, in 1750; she was 53.

They had the following children:

i. John.
3 ii. Joseph (Direct Line) (1670-ca1750)
iii. Robert.
iv. Hopkins.
v. Thomas.
Thomas married Elizabeth McCOY.
vi. William.
vii. Penelope.
