Sheerwood (Sherrod) Hollingsworth was the fourth child of Issac Hollingsworth & Elizabeth (Betty) Luper/Looper. He was born in April of 1855 in Tennessee.
(Note:It is thought he was named after his mother's brother, Sheerwood Luper.)
Sheerwood married Martha Oatsvall on March 9, 1878 in Benton Co., TN.
Martha was born in April of 1854 in Tennessee.
Sheerwood,Martha & their children were living in the 11th District of Benton Co., TN in the 1900 census.
Sheerwood Hollingsworth & Martha Oatsvall had eight children.
1. Edgar Hollingsworth was born about 1876 in Tennessee.
2. Lou E. Hollingsworth was born in Sept. of 1883 in Tennessee.
3. Joanna Hollingsworth was born in Feb. of 1886 in Tennessee.
