Sorry we haven't written for a while, but mom's been very busy on the computer. We thought maybe we could sneak down in the middle of the night, but with the new computer she got something she calls a "sound card." Anyway, it makes noises, and we were scared she'd hear us.

Guess what? We've all got nifty new matching necklaces with our names on them! Even Mackie. Mom got them in the mail yesterday and we're wearing them all the time now. It's a status thing, Mom says.

Hey, Dad, remember me telling you about Sluggo and the doggie door? I mean, I had it down but he just sat there by the sliding glass door looking out, pitifully. Whatever. Mom thinks she's got a plan to make him use our door! She tied up the plastic flap and now he runs in and out all the time! Mom thinks that if she puts up a lightweight screen for most of the summer, he'll be used to the door and kinda used to a flap, so she can put the plastic thingie back down when the weather gets cold again. I don't know about this. He's a big baby sometimes.

We've decided we like sleeping in the bed. Although, the other night, the neighbors across the street had a big, noisy party with lots and lots of beer cans left over.

In the middle of the night they were out yelling and cussing on the porch. Mom was pretty upset, and it kinda bugged me and Sluggo so we barked. Mom muttered something about taking us all (Mackie, too) over there some morning about 4 a.m. and making us bark a lot. Sounds like fun, doesn't it? Nothing like a good romp!

Well, Mom said you might come visit us sometime. Please do, We'd like to introduce you to Mackie and catch up on old times. See you around!
