The above photo of John Charles DeWitt and family was probably taken
sometime between 1930 and 1931, based on the approximate age of Helen
Pearly DeWitt and the fact that John DeWitt has not been born yet. Location
of where the photo was taken is unconfirmed but it may be in a photo studio
somewhere in Bukit Mertajam/Penang since Helen Pearly DeWitt was baptised
there.

Charles DeWitt in Bukit Baru, Melaka. Together with him and his wife are
his children, in-laws and grand children. However, missing from the photo
are Mr. Desmond Pereira and his wife Ruby DeWitt.
The estimated year was during 1965. Photo was taken by photographer from
Leong Photo Studio, Sin Hoe Garden.
