Birth Story
| ![]() ![]() I had the best summer of my life when I was eight years old. We, my sister and I, got to live with Aunt Gail and Uncle Emert all summer long. My dad gave me a silver bike for my birthday when I was ten years old. I was known in the neighborhood as the Girl With The Silver Bike. Got my first flowers and candy from Randy Eastman when I was in ninth grade. He turned out a dork. I almost died. I didn't die. Healed well due to youth. Married. Gave birth to one beautiful baby boy on May 12, 1979. Divorced one year later. Went on welfare. Got off welfare all by myself. Worked. Cried. Strived. It seemed a long time. Decided to become the kind of person who would attract a good man for marriage. I had the particular man in mind. Became a better person. That man asked me to marry him. We were really, really poor. Husband in car accident. By the grace of God he survives. I get four year college degree. Work jobs I love. Married thirteen years. Dear husband is close to retirement age. Plenty of money. Creature comforts. God decides we have too much love between us not to not share it. Unbeknownst to us, husband's vasectomy grows back together all by itself after 17 years. Age 37. Cannot believe I'm pregnant again. Gave birth to my second beautiful boy on May 17, 1997. Cannot believe I am a Stay At Home Mom. Cannot believe I am a Stay At Home Homeschooling Mom. Made a couple web pages for our baby. Made a web site about homeschooling for preschool. Redesigned website. My heart is full. Our cup runneth over. Life. The beauty. The pain. The sorrow. The joy. Is a song. Copyright ©1999, 2000
