Learning basic shapes

These are the templates I used to make shapes out of colorfoam sheets. Make a set of small, medium and large, in red, blue and yellow. Hold them and talk about them. Put them in order. Compare and contrast. Throw them around the room! Have your child jump on the size or shape or color you call out then have him call them out and you jump on them.

Large square, circle, triangle - 6.5 inches
Medium square, circle, triangle - 3.5 inches
Small square, circle, triangle - 1.5 inches
